All rooms are fully en-suite  and have their own unique style to make your stay comfortable and memorable. The rooms are separated from each other by thick stone farmhouse walls providing comfort and privacy and all benefit from stunning views. 

Rooms are cleaned daily to the highest standard and come with:

A beautiful south facing, sunny room with open views over pasture land and the surrounding hills and moors. Relax and enjoy the uninterrupted views of the garden, fields and hills beyond while sitting in the low window seat. This is a lovely traditional room with old white-washed pine furniture, sloping ceiling, oak beams and original cast iron fireplace. The Sunflower Room has an en-suite shower room.

A warm, cosy room with a wrought iron king size bed and pine furniture. Tastefully decorated and again with a low window and seat, allowing you to sit and unwind, whilst savouring the sights and sounds of the countryside. The Primrose Room has an an en-suite bathroom with corner bath and showering facilities over. Tastefully decorated this room provides a tranquil and cosy escape.

This is a spacious and stylish room having twin beds, which together form a  super kingsize bed, making this a very comfortable double room with seating area, on a raised level. The room can accommodate a family of 3 or 3 adults with the option to convert the sofa into a comfortable bed. The views from this room are to the front of Poppy Cottage, where you can see towards Skipton and Rombalds Moor. The Poppy Room has an en-suite shower room.

Poppy Cottage Dining Room

Your breakfast will be served in a warm period room, believed to have been the original farmhouse kitchen with a large Inglenook fireplace, Yorkshire stone flagged floor, oak beamed ceiling and mullioned window with seat. Breakfast is served in a very relaxed atmosphere at separate tables to guests own individual requirements, by your chefs Steve and junior chef Ben. Locally sourced, award winning produce, from one of Skipton's finest butchers, is served along with our own fresh free range eggs. 

The Poppy Cottage Guest Lounge

This room is for guests own use and is a welcoming, south facing room with patio doors leading to the private decked gardens. The lounge boasts a range of features including oak beams, a wood burning stove and Yorkshire stone flagged floor. This is the perfect room for you to enjoy your morning coffee whilst reading the papers or just to relax in at the end of the day in front of a roaring fire. The room has stunning views of the garden, fields and hills beyond.

Poppy Cottage Garden

Our guests have their own private south facing decked area with open countryside to the rear. The garden has a wide variety of plants and shrubs both pleasing to the eye and nose. This is the ideal spot to sit and enjoy the afternoon and evening sunshine. Unwind with a glass of wine whilst reflecting on your day! 

For the family, we have a large playing area at the rear and are happy for children to use the equipment with adult supervision at all times.  You will find our hens happily pecking around our garden area to the top.
